Brain Mesh 2011 Eliminations Results
BRAIN MESH INTER-U 2011 – The Inter-university Nationwide Mechanical Engineering Quiz Show Eliminations was held today, Septeber 9, 2011 at the UP College olf Engineering Theater.
It was participated by 159 students along with observers and coaches. The fifty-one teams of three from around twenty-five colleges and universities in the Philippines competed for ten spots for the Semifinals round of the BRAIN MESH INTER-U 2011 Quiz Show.

Mechanical Engineering Licensure Exam: September 2010 Results | PSME-UPSU Congratulates New Mechanical Engineers!
In a roster of 1,574 successful examinees, twelve PSME-UPSU alumni alongside fifteen UP Mechanical Engineering examinees, passed the Mechanical Engineering Licensure Exam which was held last Thursday and Friday, September 9-10, 2010.
Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers UP Student Unit is very proud of its twelve new alumni mechanical engineers, which includes three past presidents: Bryan Allain Mendoza, Rheymar Barroga and Jorge Arbie Garcia.
Other successful examinees from the crop of PSME-UPSU‘s best were: Gian Carlo Alvarez, Ray Anthony Almonares, Ulysses Ante, Alvin Javier, Jason Cristo, Jermaine Canlas, Elljay Mutuc, Marianne Oaferina and Odai Falah George Younan.
PSME-UPSU President Tops Mechanical Engineering Class 2010, Magna Cum Laude
Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers – UP Student Unit Immediate Past President Bryan Allain Mendoza lead the UP Mechanical Engineering Class of 2010 with a Magna Cum Laude distinction.
Aside from being the PSME-UPSU President last academic year, Bryan, or BA was also the Academics Committee Head in 2009. Bryan Allain Mendoza also headed PSME-UPSU’s flagship event the same year.
In his earlier days as PSME member, Mendoza headed the PSME Cup 2008. He was also one of the most active PSME Indakan member.
Multi-talented, huh?

ACLE: PSME-UPSU Presents Computer Integrated Manufacturing
The Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers in cooperation with the University of the Philippines Mechanical Engineering Department presents Computer-Integrated Manufacturing for Young Builders to be held on January 28, 2010 at the Mechanical Engineering Department Room 2, Melchor Hall, College of Engineering, in UP-Diliman.
The said event will be in relevance to this year’s Alternative Classroom Learning Experience with the theme “”Youth in the Forefront: Affirming the Role of the UP Student in a Demanding Society.”
This is the very first time that a UP Mechanical Engineering organization will be holding an ACLE to educate and accomodate interested Non-Mechanical Engineering and Non-Engineering students.
PSME UPSU Holds Turbocharged Fellowship Party
Overflowing drinks. One night. Party non-stop.
The best UP ME organization, the PSME-UPSU in cooperation with Red Mobile held the REDOMINATE: Turbocharged Party last November 26, 2009 at the Manor Superclub in Eastwood.
Dancefloor fired up with forty-plus members showing their hippest dance moves along with their friends and other Mechanical Engineering student unit officers and members.
Norman Cualteros hosted the event from 9PM-11PM. Afterwhich, the members decided to stay for a really fun night.
PSME-UPSU Inducts New Members
Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers – University of the Philippine Student Unit held its induction and semstarter last November 21-22, 2009 at the Cattleya Resort in Antipolo City.
Six new members were inducted, namely, Christian Alagon, Lloyd Lester Lejano, Sharel Shyateza Abellar, Arriane Peralta, Louie Angelo Rivera and Rafael Paolo Quinio.
The new members were inducted by the PSME-UPSU President Bryan Allain T. Mendoza along with the Memberships Committee Head Gemmanny Gonzales.
A team-building activity and a talent’s night prior to the induction was held as final challenge for this semester’s batch of applicants.
